Clock Decorating Stencils of Mid-19th Century Connecticut is a selection form the working stencils of William B Fenn of Plymouth, Connecticut. A collection of the stencils is held by the Edward Ingraham Library of the American Clock and Watch Museum in Bristol. From the period about 1840 to 1863 Fenn was a major supplier of ornamented gasses to Connecticut clock manufacturers and his larger customers during this period seem to have been Seth Thomas, Silas Hoadley, H Welton & Co., Terry & Andrews, J. C. Brown, Smith & Goodrich, Forestville Manufacturing Company, Chauncey Boardman, Boardman & Wells, Atkins & Porter, Elisha Manross, Birge & Fuller, and Brewster & Ingraham.
