Laviously illustrated with photos of the figurines, back marks, dinnerware and the like, and further enhanced with comic strip drawings, production sketches and whatever else of interest that the author could drum-up, this book is a pleasure to look at for all generations, from the pre-readers to grandfather. After a number of thumb throughs, the reader will find that it is also a very-well written book, with descriptions of the history of the characters at the potters and in popular culture.
