deLee Art: The Pictorial Story of A California Artist and Her Company 1937 - 1958 contains an excellent biography of its creator, artist Jimmie Lee Adair Kohl, and an informative history of her company and its processes. The bulk of this book, though, is dedicated, as it should be, to the highly collectible ceramics that deLee Art produced in its 22 years. Each item is color photographed, sometimes with multiple views, and described. Estimated values are also provided. Perhaps 500 items in total are presented. Included are human figures, animals, and specialty items such as banks and cookie jars. A separate section on marks will also prove valuable. deLee Art: The Pictorial Story of A California Artist and Her Company 1937 - 1958 is a new hardcover and is still in its original plastic wrap.
