A Walk through the Ages accompanied the Hillwood Art Museum exhibition, A Walk Through the Ages: Chinese Archaic Art from the Sondra Gross Collection. The objects in this collection exemplify a variety of styles and media that allow for exploration of traditional Chinese art, its sources and craftsmanship. The collection is especially rich in bronze and jade works of the Shang, Eastern Zhou and Han dynasties, clearly exhibiting the collector's affinity for Chinese art of a highly decorative nature.
