This important catalog presents items from the collection of Justice Warren Shepro, President of the Antiquarian Horological Society. Specially hardbound, the book pays tribute to the man and the collector. The 145 clocks presented are exquisite. The auction was in New York on April 26, 2001. The featured items include:

A rare early gilt-brass octagonal table clock with original traveling case, French, late 16th century;

Robert Robin: a Louis XVI important ormolu-mounted mahogany regulator with remontoire and Equation of Time, Paris, circa 1790;

Joseph Knibb: a Charles II important quarter striking walnut longcase clock, English, circa 1680;

A rare and important early hexagonal gilt-brass tower table clock, French, early 16th century;

John Knibb: an important three train lantern clock, English, circa 1685; and

Daniel Quare: a William III rare month-going boulle longcase clock, London, circa 1695.

Watches and clocks of approximately 80 makers were presented.
