Some of the interesting patterns shown are Hobail, Vaseline Coinspot, Fostoria Coin and Fenton Topaz.

An unrecorded set of Presidential glass ordered by Ulysses S. Grant is also discussed.

C.F. Monroe Company: Unraveling a Riddle by Wilfred R. Cohen - Brilliant cut glass with a colored overlay produced by C.F. Monroe Co., scarcely found today, is investigated and shown in eight color photos. Cohen's article presents his case for this attributing this Victorian art glass.

Art Glass: Fenton Style (1925 - 1988) by Roserita Ziegler - This article focuses on the glass of Dan Dailey and Delmer Stowasser. Six of their pieces are shown in three color photos. Two color photos also show 1976 pieces from the Robert Barber Collection.

Colored Glass Egg Cups by John Sewell - Sewell provides means to identify egg cups. Four color photos and one B&W photo display 38 samples which are discussed in the text. These include art glass, marble slags, blue opal and opal milk glass.

Sounding Brass, Tinkling Symbol by Helene Tash - A charming vignette.

A String of Old Glass Beads by James M. Havens - This brief survey of glass beads divides them into three categories according to techniques used by the beadmakers. One color photograph shows a string of Venetian glass beads and one illustration demonstrating production.

Nailsea Glass by Margaret Holland - Holland surveys the types of wares covered when the term Nailsea is used generically. Production history and techniques are discussed. Two color and six B&W photographs.

Glass Christmas Ornaments: Past and Present by Betty Newbound - A history of the glass Christmas ornament. Of special interest is the photo of Herr Heinz Korn of Grub near Coburg at work making these December pieces. Icicles, Santas, snowmen, and ornaments of a variety of shapes are presented in color and B&W photos.
