Canton: The Glass Company that Refused to Die, Part 1 by Marg Iwen - Part 1 of the Canton glass company story, this article traces its founding in 1883 through 1920.

Pairpoint Lamps: A Marriage of Metal and Glass by Johanna S. Billings - Johanna Billings article summarized the origins of Pairpoint lamps which encompassed the combined skills of the Mt Washington Glass Company and Pairpoint Manufacturing, a metal works company. Six color plates illustrate the elaborately patterned lamps such as the Papillon, Balmoral and Roma.

Egg-Shaped Paperweights, Part 3 by Mark A. Smith - Third and final article in a series. Previous articles appeared in Aug/Sept 1994 (vol. VIII, No. 2) and Oct/Nov 1995 (Vol. IX, No. 3). Author Mark Smith commissioned contemporary glass artists to create the paperweights discussed (and illustrated in eight color plates) in this article. Artists such as Nina Palidino & Michael Hanson of California Glass Studio, Chris Buzzini, and Alejandro Aguirre are represented.

Cottage Glass Urn Vases by John A. Franks - The Urn vases which John Franks discusses in this article are purely decorative pieces produced by English glassworkers. These vases have either two handles or are raised with a vase body on a pedestal. Fourteen color plates show examples of the unique ornamental works.

Fostoria: Victorian to Modern by Leslie Pina - Leslie Pina s article on Fostoria glass illustrates examples of this campany s lines from the Victorian period to its final closing in 1986. Particular attention is given to pieces designed by George Sakier. Thirteen color plastes, nine b&w photos.

Hawkes Cut Glass Bells by A.A. Trinidad Jr. - The Cut glass bells of G. Hawkes & Company of Corning, NY are discussed by cut glass authority A.A. Trinidad Jr. Patterns are illustrated in fourteen photos and one color plate. Included are Kismet, Chantilly and Puritan patters among others.

William L Iorio: from Cut Glass to Hot Glass by Tony Beadell - Paperweights from New Jersey are the subjet of this abundantly illustrated (eight color plates) article. In particular, the work of Louis P. Iorio and his son, William Iorio, are discussed.
